The royal couple might face pressure to depart from the USA, but as per an insider, they won’t be heading back to the UK.
prince Harry and Meghan Markle may already have a back-up plan as they wait for a response to the former’s US visa application.Harry’s visa application is currently under review, according to reports, after he confessed to using drugs in the past in his recent memoirReports claim the confession could complicate his bid to become a full-time US resident, but one former Former GB News Royal Correspondent believes there may already be a back-up plan in place for Harry and Meghan.
Michael Cole told GB News: “So of course an admission in a book isn’t sworn evidence, it’s not testimony. But it is fairly strong circumstantial evidence that he took drugs.”And if it is revealed that he did not tell the truth in his visa form, the Americans vigilate their immigration very seriously, unlike this country, and he could be kicked out of the country, his visa could be annulled and he could be asked to leave America promptly.”
He added: “With Donald Trump, you’re either in or out, you’re either friend or foe. If he regards you as a foe, he will do his best to act against you, there’s no doubt about it. It’s as clear as night from day. It’s a very serious matter.”Harry admitted to taking both cocaine and marijuana as a teen and as an adult in his memoir, writing: “It wasn’t much fun, and it didn’t make me particularly happy, as it seemed to make everyone around me. But it did make me feel different, and that was the main goal.”
With Meghan being born and raised in the USA, Harry is able to benefit from a green card that allows him to live and work in the States.Though, he will have been asked whether he has ever consumed drugs on his initial application form, and whether the situation escalates or not could depend on how truthful he was when ticking those boxes
