PORTO CERVO, SARDINIA — Taraji P. Henson and Mary J. Blige gave fans a glimpse of their unforgettable friendship when the longtime pals enjoyed a sun-soaked getaway aboard a luxury yacht off the coast of Sardinia, Italy.
The pair were photographed relaxing, laughing and soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine during their visit to Porto Cervo, the glamorous resort destination on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda. Reports from the trip described the friends enjoying yacht time together and making the most of their Italian escape.
🌊 Bikini Style Meets Mediterranean Glamour
Both stars embraced vacation mode, showing off confident summer style as they relaxed on the yacht. Photos from the 2022 getaway captured Henson and Blige in coordinating swimwear while chatting, dancing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Rather than simply posing for the cameras, the two appeared to be having genuine fun together—laughing with their crew, enjoying drinks and taking in the spectacular Mediterranean scenery.
❤️ From Hollywood Co-Stars to Close Friends
Henson and Blige’s friendship goes back years. The pair famously appeared together in Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All by Myself in 2009, helping establish a friendship that continued beyond their work together.

📸 The Photos That Had Fans Talking
From the crystal-clear Mediterranean water to the luxury yacht setting, the images perfectly captured the carefree atmosphere of their Italian vacation.
The getaway also highlighted something fans have long appreciated about the pair—their ability to celebrate friendship, confidence and enjoying life on their own terms.
And with Porto Cervo providing the backdrop, the combination of Hollywood glamour, Mediterranean sunshine and longtime friendship made this a vacation moment fans weren’t likely to forget. ✨🌊❤️
