“I have to get, sometimes, shots in my butt so I could perform,” Combs explained as the footage played behind him. “Because I got older, I need as much help as I can get.”
DeGeneres noted that when Combs last appeared on her show, he had an IV bag of fluids with him. This gave him an important realization about himself.
“You know what I just realized?” he said. “I’m a hypochondriac. I think that’s it. I’m looking at the movie — I didn’t really need the shot in my butt. I have an IV; I really wasn’t thirsty. You know what I’m saying?”
