Chicago Sky star Angel Reese continues to make waves off the court, and don’t expect her to stop anytime soon. Reese launched her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast back in September, and it has continued for seven months, dropping the final episode of Season 1 on Thursday. For episode 30, Reese had Chrisean Rock as a guest, during which they talked about the rapper’s life in Baltimore, dreams of having kids and even her stint in reality TV. On Saturday, the Sky forward officially capped off the first season of her podcast with an emotional message, reflecting on the journey she took and thanking everyone who made it possible to pull off the project. Reese, however, confirmed that it’s not the end of the line for “Unapologetically Angel.” While she’s taking a break, the 22-year-old confirmed that there will be a Season 2. She also announced in the same post that she might drop some “extra content” throughout the 2025 WNBA season. “Season 1 was SUCH a success but I can’t wait for season 2 of Unapologetically Angel,” Reese wrote. “In the meantime make sure you check out all the episodes from this season & you may see some extra content throughout my W season to keep you all involved with my crazy life so make sure you are subscribed.”
Angel Reese undoubtedly had a successful run to start her podcast. She has attracted several high-profile guests like Shaquille O’Neal, Lisa Leslie and Sheryl Swoopes, among many others. In less than a year, her YouTube channel has also garnered over 130,000 subscribers, which earned her a YouTube silver play button. On Instagram, her podcast page has over 160,000 followers. Reese has also strengthened her online presence with her off-court activities, making her the most followed WNBA player on Instagram with over 4.8 million followers. Sure enough, plenty of fans will be waiting for Reese to drop the next season of her podcast.
