Heartbreaking news has been confirmed about RHOA star Shamea Morton’s baby girl, Shiloh. Born prematurely on Valentine’s Day, she struggled to breathe, was placed on 100% oxygen, then intubated and put on a ventilator. This week, Shiloh had her first surgery — doctors cleared the bone and tissue blocking her tiny nasal passages. Now, for the first time, she’s able to rest in her mother’s arms. Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shamea Morton shared a promising update after her newborn daughter had to undergo surgery for breathing issues.

“Hey Bestfriends! I have a praise report! Shiloh’s 1st surgery went well @childrensatl ,” Morton captioned an Instagram Reel of her and her husband Gerald Mwangi’s baby girl in the hospital Thursday.

The Bravolebrity, 40, then went on to tag the “amazing” doctor who has been helping her family through this tough time.

“I just thank God for her,” she continued. “She drilled through the tissue and bone that was completely blocking her nasal passages! Shiloh now has stents in her nose but she’s been extubated (no more tubes in her throat). She now has a nasal cannula and she’s in her mommy’s arms! .”

Cynthia Bailey wrote, “praise God!!!,” while Kenya Moore added, “Told you!!!! .”

Sheree Whitfield, meanwhile, commented, “God is good .”

Morton’s update comes a week after she announced the arrival of her and Mwangi’s second child via surrogacy. At the time, the former professional dancer said their baby girl was born prematurely on Valentine’s Day, weighing 6 pounds and 8 ounces.

Moments after her birth, Morton said Shiloh began having trouble breathing and had to “be put on 100% oxygen.”

“A few hours later she was intubated and placed on a ventilator,” she added. “That’s where we are now. I’ve been a mess, heart palpitations, anxiety etc…but Shiloh is a fighter.”

Morton and Mwangi, 60, tied the knot in July 2017 and welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Shya, in November 2018.

“I’m officially a MOM!” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I have a whole new respect for women and our bodies. Childbirth is nothing short of a miracle. I feel so blessed to have had this experience.”

When it comes to the title “special woman” in Tom Schwartz’s life, that role always belongs to one person. That lucky human just so happens to be his mom, Kimberly (duh!).

Tom often posts about his tight-knit relationship with his mama. And this past Mother’s Day, he shed light on their bond. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Mamas out there. I love mine the most,” the Vanderpump Rules alum wrote, alongside a carousel of photos of Kimberly.

The photos included Tom and mama Kimberly out at the Emmy Awards (more on that below), as well as solo photos of Kimberly out and about living her best life with a black lab in one photo, rocking a Tom Tom cap in another snapshot, and drinking a cocktail in another picture.

Before that, on Valentine’s Day, Tom celebrated his mom by sending her flowers to mark the special day. He shared their sweet text exchange with his followers, which gave everyone some insight into their dynamic.

In fact, Tom hangs out with his mom a lot as she often makes the trip to California to see him. She was by his side as his date at the Emmy Awards back in September 2024. “Being there with my Mom was a dream come true,” he captioned a series of photos from their night out.

During a 2023 visit, Tom shared that he “found a happy place” making various stops around Los Angeles with Kimberly. The duo went out to eat, hung out with his dogs, Gordo and Butter (whom he shares with ex-wife, Katie Maloney), and also made some time to stop by Kyle Chan’s jewelry store.

Schwartz has a special connection to Lisa Vanderpump from his days on Vanderpump Rules. He has called her his “forever crush” to People. LVP shared where she stands with Schwartz in an interview with Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast earlier this year. “I have a great relationship with Schwartz,” she said, adding, “He tries to make everybody happy.
