Mary J. Blige left her boots at home to attend the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on March 2. The iconic singer and rapper selected red metallic Christian Louboutin pumps to match her striking custom red gown.

Posing on the carpet at the annual star-studded soirée, Blige showed off an ornate bespoke piece from Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. In an arresting ruby red hue, the gown featured a thigh-high slit as well as a dramatically pointed bust hemline in which one side reached far higher than the other, making for an eye-catching asymmetric detail. Intricate embellishment contributed extra shine and textural variation to the look.
For her footwear, Blige appeared to be wearing metallic red Hot Chick Slingback pumps hailing from Christian Louboutin. The shoes stood out with a high level of shine and bold gem stone hue as well as a statement-making pump silhouette. The brand’s Kate style, named for Kate Moss, features a pointed toe, low-cut vamp and narrow stiletto heel.
The Hot Chick Sling is a design from Maison Christian Louboutin featuring a bold cut enhanced with a pointed toe and an ankle strap with V-shaped notches. It is set on a 100 mm stiletto heel and is crafted entirely in black patent calf leather.
