Lil Wayne Jokes About Papoose’s Taste In Women Amid Remy Ma Vs. Claressa Shields Drama

Lil Wayne has some thoughts on Papoose‘s dating preferences after learning the Brooklyn native is dating boxer Claressa Shields after splitting from Remy Ma.

Weezy is the cover star of Rolling Stone‘s latest issue, but some topics didn’t make it into the main story. So on Monday (April 21), the mag released some other random things that came up throughout the interview – like Tune randomly asking if Remy and Pap were still together.

Clearly they’re not, so Wayne’s longtime artist Lil Twist and the journalist conducting the interview gave him “a Shaderoom-style update [to] tell him that Papoose is now dating boxer Claressa Shields.”

In true Wayne fashion, he merely replied: “He like somebody that could beat his ass.”

Remy and Pap’s long-rumored marriage problems were confirmed in December when the estranged couple got into a public spat on social media.

1. The drama began when the former Terror Squad rapper accused her husband of having an affair with world champion boxer Claressa Shields, who she proceeded to attack online.

The fighter did not take the jabs lying down and fired back by offering to throw hands with Remy in the ring.

“Claressa Shields vs @RealRemyMa Feb 2nd!” she wrote on X. “Come get yo ass whooped crash out!!”

She added in a separate post: “I’m not a bitch you can bully. You’re bitter and mad. You making yourself look stupid, just stop it.”

Shields’ fight challenge came after Remy Ma accused her of planting “fake stories” about her in the media, leaked alleged texts between Shields and Papoose, and called the boxer his “weirdo girlfriend.”

Papoose responded to Remy exposing his alleged relationship with Shields by accusing her of cheating on him “repeatedly” and revealing that he has been wanting a divorce for some time.

The bitter dispute escalated from there, with Remy accusing the “Alphabetical Slaughter” MC of domestic violence and “getting [her] arrested” — the latter allegation he denied.

Papoose hit back by sharing a photo of his wife cozying up to Eazy The Block Captain, the battle rapper she was rumored to have been dating since last summer.

Remy and Eazy have since confirmed their romance, as have Pap and Claressa.
