Megan Thee Stallion Says She’s ‘Manifesting’ Super Bowl Performance: ‘I Would Embrace the Challenge’
Megan Thee Stallion is making clear her desire to one day lead a Super Bowl halftime show, saying in a recent interview that she’s “manifesting” such a performance.
Speaking to Us Weekly, as seen here, the “Lover Girl” artist let Hotties around the world know that she’s more than prepared to take the global stage should the opportunity arise.
“I’m manifesting a Super Bowl halftime performance for myself in the future,” Megan told the publication. “Honestly, I would really love the opportunity if it presented itself and I would embrace the challenge. The Hotties know I love to put on a show, so I would just want to turn the halftime show into a big party, come with some surprises, and put on for my city.”
With the Total-sampling, Klay Thompson-inspired “Lover Girl,” Megan ended a two-week dry spell for rap in the top 40 of the Hot 100 chart. Released in October, the track went on to debut at No. 8 on the chart, thus bringing that much-discussed (albeit admittedly brief) dry spell to a close.
