23-year-old Shamay Pitt is recovering after enduring an unimaginable nightmare. She agreed to meet her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Woodruff, to talk, but he ambushed her, shooting her 10 times. The horror didn’t end there. Woodruff then kidnapped her, driving her around for hours while she bled out in the car, begging for her life and even asking to write a final letter to her son. He eventually abandoned her at a hospital, where she was rushed into surgery. Despite the horrific attack, she survived and is now bravely speaking out to warn other women about the red flags of domestic abuse. Shamay’s family says she is alive today by the grace of God.
