Quinta Brunson on Jason Kelce Picking Her Up During Monday Night Football Welcome: ‘Look at That Air!’ I love Jason he’s so lovely
Quinta Brunson is revealing what it was like to be made airborne by Jason Kelce.
During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers on Thursday, May 16, the Abbott Elementary star, 34, opened up about being lifted into the air by the former Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, as she officially welcomed him as ESPN’s new Monday Night Countdown commentator on May 14.
“I’m going to say he seemed happy to see you. Did you have any sense of how he would show his happiness?” Meyers asked.
“I didn’t,” laughed Brunson.
Meyers, 50, then showed a photo of the hilarious moment at the Disney upfront event.
“Guys, I am so short. I haven’t been this high off the ground in so long,” Brunson laughed. “This was insane. Look at that air!”
“The last time I felt that way was on Tower of Terror. I swear to you now guys, my stomach went up and everything,” she continued. “But he did ask for consent. He was like, ‘Do you mind?’ I said, ‘No that’s fine.’ But I still didn’t know I’d be airborne. I really didn’t. But he’s so lovely.”
The actress and comedian then mentioned Kelce and his former teammate Jalen Hurts’ guest star appearances on the third season of Abbot Elementary and noted “They were just wonderful additions to our season.”
