Travis Kelce Reveals the Taylor Swift Nickname Jason Kelce’s Kids Had to Unlearn…
Taylor Swift may be one of the most recognizable people in the world, but when she first met Travis Kelce’s nieces, they apparently had a very simple—and hilariously formal—way of addressing her.
During a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis revealed that Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters initially called Taylor by her complete name every time they spoke to her.
“Taylor Swift, can I do this?” Jason jokingly recalled his daughters saying. 😂
Travis explained that the family eventually had to break the habit, telling the girls that they could simply call her “Taylor.” He described the whole thing as “adorable.”
The story is especially sweet because the girls have since become much more comfortable around their famous aunt. Taylor has previously talked about spending time with Jason and Kylie’s daughters, including making fun, colorful baked treats with them. 🧁🌈
And the nickname eventually became even more affectionate: “Aunt Tay Tay.” ❤️
Jason’s explanation for the girls’ original formality was pretty understandable—Taylor Swift is Taylor Swift, after all! 😂
The moment gave fans another glimpse into the playful relationship between Taylor and the Kelce family, showing how a world-famous superstar can simply become “Aunt Tay Tay” once she’s part of the family.
