Cardi B Is the Pointy Villain, Wears All Black and Sharp Leather Stilettos to Mugler Spring 2025 Show
Cardi B is continuing her storm of Paris Fashion Week, now at the Mugler show. After hitting up the Paco Rabanne and Balmain presentations, the rapper donned all black for a villain-esque effect to watch the Mugler show.
The rapper, working with longtime stylist Kollin Carter, wore a Mugler look that seemed pulled from the archives. The look featured a coat with strong molded shoulders and complimenting, sharply pointed hips. The proportions exaggerated the silhouette to emphasize the narrow waist. The sharp points were repeated as cutouts inside the bodice of the jacket. It was paired with a black skirt.
The star went dramatic on the hair and makeup with longtime collaborator Davontae Washington putting in a sharp, angular bang that was seen on the runway as well as Erika La’Perla treating Cardi to a nude lip with a black lip liner.
For shoes, Cardi B kept up the pointed theme. She wore a pair of Mugler’s classic fang heels. That style is made of Italian black leather. In addition a pointed toe, it also features a pointed vamp. A seam runs from the end of the vamp to the end of the toe. The shoe also incorporates a fang heel that is sculpted with a point on the end that extends past the foot base of the foot. The heel is almost four inches.

Cardi B is known, in part, for her shoes. Her breakout song “Bodak Yellow” featured a chorus with the line “these is red bottoms, these is bloody shoes” referring to the signature sole of Christian Louboutin heels. But she’s made an impression in footwear from other labels since then. Yesterday, at the Balmain spring 2025 presentation she wore a pair of archival Vivienne Westwood court pump heels.
Done in kid leather, the shoes are from the designer’s fall 1993 collection and sourced from Pechuga Vintage, a popular store. Before that he wore Marc Jacobs’ popular Kiki boots which are a high platform heel style like the Westwood designs.
