For years, the relationship between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has remained one of Hollywood’s most talked-about marriages. But behind the glamorous appearances was a much more complicated reality.

Jada revealed in 2023 that she and Will had actually been living separate lives since 2016. Despite the separation, however, the two never legally divorced, with Jada saying at the time that she had made a promise that there would never be a reason for them to divorce.

Interestingly, the latest reports have made Will and Jada’s story even more complicated. In July 2026, reports said Jada had moved back in with Will and that the two were happy and committed to supporting each other.
